A Video to Make You Smile

Boys and girls, this may look silly at first, but I bet it moves you. I woke up to this and it really put a smile on my face.

I’m like you guys—sometimes I can be pretty cynical of the world we live in. There’s a lot of bad going on, that’s for sure.

Well, Matt took his own approach to the problem. This silly video made me smile, and even gave me a bit of hope for a troubled world.

Let me know what you guys think. And remember this: While the world sometimes looks dark, there are still those who find time to dance in the light…and do it together as one.

I sat here watching this incredible video with tears welling up in my eyes and wondered…
“what if… the whole world could actually come together and experience that?’

“What if?”

Thanks for sharing this Jon.

Pretty much a danced version of “Imagine” … funny thing, we were discussing that last night with some friends. Why is it that some power-hungry individuals draw lines on a map and we can’t cross them without passports, visas, permits, sums of money to get all the above? Do animals care? No, they cross those lines and go where they please.

While the video itself was silly, the message is not!

Watch his 2006 video also. Really cool. I have been reading Matt Harding’s blogs since I saw the 2006 video, which is a happy video as well.

I was going to be in the DC segment - I got the emails where Matt as coordinating the DC dance. The first location was cancelled due to police (“You can’t gather like this in front of a fountain at the train station”) and then he picked another location, doing it as quickly as possible because the US government doesn’t really like people gathering to dance, obviously.
