Bingo is alive

Greetings all!

I must beg my own mercy so I will not smite…me.

I have company in from out-of-town, and on top of that, I am now the sole owner of Fit Over 40. Last night, I bought out my partner and friend Tom Venuto so he could pursue his own growing empire. There are already changes — we have a facelift on the site, and I will be adding some extra goodies for bonuses in the next few weeks. All current owners of the book will have access to these, by the way.

Also, as if that wasn’t enough — I’m about to commit “list suicide”, or so it’s been called by many in the biz.

I’m actually going to ‘ask’ you what you want — and then give it to you.

So, to Mike and to all, I live…I’m merely a bit on the frazzled side. Hang in there, as Bingo will blog this week with answers to your questions, more cool stuff about carbs, and general nonsense about…vishnu only knows. Many thanks for the patience, and the wonderful comments. {10}

Well I have great timing… getting involved with MPower at a time when both you and Jan are not on your regular schedules. I guess this is my lesson in patience. I’m waiting for access to my Mpower Audio of the week. I’ve already listened to last week’s twice and finished my study guide like a good little girl. I’m waiting for LifeAssess and Jan (I know 2-7 days). I’m waiting for Bingo to blog…. knowledge, insight, tips, tools, secrets… I need it badly, I’m having withdrawal. How about that, you got me to post.

Alicia;

Actually Jan is working here…as am I! We also have quite a staff, so all is moving forward. But yes, “life happens” and you have to learn to schedule for the bumps.

Jan says: “Alicia, got it yesterday — look for this on Sunday!”

Your next audio is coming up soon, so there you go!

(Not bad for a guy with hundreds of M-Power clients to deal with, eh? Everyone, clap for Bingo.)

Isn’t it funny how offering something for nothing can bring a lurker to the surface?

I’m just coming to the end of a 12-week period of workout program, and what I really need is: a new workout program! (All the reading I’ve done suggests regular change to prevent adaptation).

I was kind of hoping 7MM would surface just in time, but if that is not yet ready, could you post sample workout routines that we (well, I) could print off and take to the gym? That would be much appreciated, coach :-)

Jon,

I know Jan is working there, I sent you an email about it. Tell Jan I didn’t mean to rush her in anyway by my comments. I want her to take her time and come up with a brilliant plan for me. I’m just missing my daily snipets of enlightenment, tis all.

Hi guys and Dolls

My brain over flow for today. Short and simple kind of like me. That is I am simple but not short.

Trainer Jan Love ya baby! Sorry Bingo but I know who to suck up to first. Bingo, big claps and a lot of them buddy.

I am feeling a little stiff from my chest/back workout yesterday. Not bad though. But then tomorrow is another day right? I plan to lift again tomorrow. Shoulders that is. I am not fully healthy yet as I have a nasty cold. I still prey that the what ever I had is gone and this cold is the end of it. Then I will take pics every few weeks and show you all what can be done with the proper guidance and the right attitude so stay tuned.

And speaking of tuned what day does a chicken hate the most? Fry Day of course. So that had nothing to do with tuned but how about this. While the Bingo is somewhat occupied, how about mentioning the kind of tunes you most like to workout to?

Enter throat clearing noise here. In case you haven’t figured it out I am a wee bit strange. My spew on my gym might have tipped you off. Even though I didn’t even mention the seated calve raises machine, another day perhaps suffice to say that is one sexy chunk of machine. I think it’s the way she unapologetically snuggles in my lap.

Some days I like country like Carolyn Dawn Johnson or maybe Terry Clark, another day I may take out the hearing aids so I can hear the music the way it really sounds and crank up ACDC or David Wilcox. Sometimes Mozart. I must experiment more with Mozart. I have an idea that it generates a more powerful focus on my workout.

So what do you think?

7:50 PM past my bed time, Good night

you have a talent for making me lough.
the imagination of a sexy calf machine - well let’s just say it got my imagination going.
Thanks a lot for all your info. It is helpfull. I think i might have a thing with food - it is like i am scared of it or something-i started 10in10 and jon got me going on 250cal a meal 5 times a day, now i am up to 1500 cal a day - maybe when i get my courage up I will up it a bit again.
I am also trying to eat 3 days on 1500 cal and 1 day on 1800 cal (if i can make it) I have only done it for a week.
tomorrow suppose to be my high day - will see how it goes - i have my food ready to go.
In the gym i do 40 min of cardio everyday and then i follow it with weight training.
I guess i should be patient. Maybe one of those days i will ditch the t-shirt and workout only in my sports bra….
that will be the greatest day of my life….
have a good night

Best of luck to you, Anna! I’m working towards the day when I can comfortably wear a tank top in public. Gotta get rid of the love handles first, though. Kinda ruins the tapered-V look… bleh. But they’re steadily fading.

I do my cardio and weightlifting in the reverse order — weights first, cardio last. That way, I’m as fresh as possible when I hit the weights. I’ve found that it’s quite difficult to muster the short-term bursts of energy needed to move the weight, especially with proper form, once your glycogen levels are depleted. Besides, if you use up those glycogen stores working the weights, they won’t be available as fuel when you start your cardio, so your body will have to tap into your fat stores.
It has worked well for me.

thanks that is a good advice. I will try it - maybe it will work for me, too.
