More on chemical fat loss
That supplement list? Yeah, I promise…it IS coming, but I wanted to format it a certain way, so I’m getting a tutorial in HTML today after God’s Game.
Please refer to the blog yesterday on the latest nonsense from the medical front on a “cure” for obesity through tricking the body to starve itself. I’ve included a link to a great article by Men’s Fitness contributing author Christian Finn on the second study that reared its ugly head last week — on leptin.
Leptin is about as new as all that hoopla you’re hearing about a woman’s right to vote, but journalists love to label old news “new” because it is really close to the word “news”, which really means “new” — and now we’re all nice and confused. So, while leptin is old news, new studies are going on — and finding out the same old stuff about it. Still, it’s important to read, so check it out. {10}

And so it is Monday again. Since no scale for me (haven’t taken it out form the basement yet as per your orders Jon)- i haven’t noticed any difference in me except I do feel good but my waist is going no where it just seats where it was for the past 4 years. That is ok though.
I am starting a new workout schedule and more scheduled eating habits and all that nice staff and i will stick with it.
also i decided not to bother with any new news about weight loss cause it is only a hype (if i hear one more thing about the sauna belts .. i don’t know what i’ll do-from what i hear it makes sense to some people). I will just concentrate on my goals only and on this new program and hope that it will work or i will make it work.
You are so lucky that you are not here in Edmonton canada because it is so freaking cold (-27C degrees). what is it in F degrees you ask. Well i don’t really know but quite possibly around -12F or so - in any case it is cold and it snows and it is hard to drive - never mind running in this weather.
anyway just thought i will blog something since i haven’t been doing it consistently.
Have a good day

Speaking of fat loss:
I know using caffeine is a great fat loss booster to add before your fasting cardio. Does anyone have any recommendation for a caffeine/l-glutamine/creatine mix that i could just mix with water?
Everyone keep up the good work in gym and mind!

Anna, I can’t relate to weather that extreme though it’s been cold, snowy and nasty here near Washington D.C. I have a road race to run on Sunday. It’s supposed to be windy and 11 degrees F.
If you get some good cold weather gear, it’s not as bad though I haven’t run when it’s below zero so I can’t comment on that.
Give your body some time. For me, the waist/stomach area was the last place I saw ANY progress….. ahhh the benefits of being a woman. When you work out, you might want to say to your waist, “burn fat”…. I know it sounds strange but it works.
Can you jump rope? That’s a great workout and has some of the same benefits as running. You can also do it indoors.
Good luck with your new routine. I know it’s tough in the Winter and when it feels like nothing is happening. Something is always happening, it just may not be at the pace you think it should be. Give it some time, the changes will come.
