Seattle Bound

Well gang, I am in Seattle again for a while. My partner in M-Power Fitness, Jan Hauser, along with her family, are once again opening their doors to me for a while. My original visit was going to be for a weekend, but it looks like we have a lot more work to do.

I love Seattle in the summertime. Anything beats Dallas in the summertime…trust me. That is, unless you enjoy 110 degree heat and 10,000% humidity.

The reason for this trip is actually exciting for everyone. Jan and I are completing our first co-authored book, The Every Other Day Diet. Wait until you see this! We have created a whole new way to look at food, dieting, and even “categories” of food. I think it will take the world by storm.

We are also co-creating a series of workouts designed specifically for the over-35 crowd. Everyone over the age of 35 has specific needs that are rarely addressed in popular books. This will be an extension of my already quite popular book Fit Over 40.

Finally, we will be finishing up some exciting additions to M-Power Fitness. Current members will be getting these additions for free or for practically nothing, so be sure you sign up before we make the change.

Perhaps most of all, I am looking forward to a much-needed mental break. Odd, but I find it more draining to be less intense than consistently intense. I’ve been out of my game for a few months now work-wise, so yeah baby! I’m looking forward to some late nights, more coffee, and cranking out the best writing I’ve done in years.

Partners really help, and I’m fortunate to call Jan my partner in business and in friendship. Ladies, you will especially enjoy her take on things. Jan was at one time about 230 pounds and quite obese. She’s had an amazing seven-year journey, keeping her new lean physique all of that time. She has a story to tell!

More later this week…

P.S. We launch Better Body University July 2. If you have not reserved a spot, there are few left open. Check it out!

EXCITED for the new book.
Enjoy Seattle… my home town. If you want truly good coffee hit Vivace in capitol hill. Seriously. I know my coffee - trust me on this one.
