Which Logo Do You Like The Best?
The polls are now closed! We hit 1,000 votes, the max allowed, in less than an hour. The results are in!
Sorry if you missed the vote. I had no idea it would go this fast. But I will have another vote shortly if you missed this one and that will have a nice bonus as well.
The winner is…
By a landslide: 67% to 33%.
However, so many of you made great comments about Logo B that I am going to post red versions of Logo A.
NOTE: These are TWO versions of the logo — they will never appear together. One is for “JBF”, my line of products. The other is when I need to spell out what JBF stands for. The icon is most important.
Thanks again!

Hey Jon, I like the blue and black one better. Since I help other businesses with their brand marketing - there’s my free “expert” advice. :)
Whichever one you choose - it is important to build your brand - I also look at logos in terms of imprinting of products and although 2 color logos cost more to imprint - it is much easier to imprint products when colors dont cross each other. Not sure whether you would be using promotional products but that is something to think about.
Anyway good luck.

Jon,
I have done some work with left brain right brain functioning with regard to training my sales team. Inthe process we do some brain preference checking using kinesiology (long story I won’t go into here). The top logo checks very weak … and fails my test. It would be overlooked easily… The problem is not the bottom. It is the top. It might be the color or itmight be the logo itself, but it is definitely the top portion that fails.
On the bottom logo, BOTH portions test strongly. This logo will get noticed. (in my humble semi-scientific opinion … lol).
Good luck with the project

Actually, I would have preferred a combination of the two logos. I like the colors in the bottom logo better, but the image in the top. However, I think you should have only one fancy JB in the logo, not two. Dump the larger one.

Logo B (gives appearance of being more grounded/solid) and using red is powerful and holds your attention.
I do like Logo A, but feel its a little more artsy.
Both are very good — great job.

Logo A does it for me. Black and blue always look sharp together and I like the look. The bottom one looks good - but - the “J” looks more like an “S” since it blends into the “B” - making it look more like SBF. I also don’t like the color scheme as much as the black and blue. I think the colors might be too “soft” for me.

No offense to our scientific friend, but the first logo wins—hands down! Sorry, but I would have overlooked the bottom logo and gone straight for something like the top: The bottom logo is not appealing at all, while the top one pops and clearing states your purpose. Hope the first (top) one wins!!!!

It really depends on what image you are trying to portray. To me the first logo is professional, honest, sophisticated, business-like. You need to dump the smaller repeat image though - after all, less is more…..
The second is artsy, you can’t ‘read’ the letters, it is more suited to to something less allied to health e.g. design, advertising etc. Too ‘try-hard’
Good luck!

I voted for the second one. However, I like the “clean” aspect of the first, but I don’t like the two logos appearing. I find it a distraction. So, even though I think the second appears a little cluttered, it is my preference taking the two as they are. Both I feel need more work.

I like the looks of number one with the exception that I don’t care for the letter “J”, it’s is not pronounced enough; whenever I look at it I see the word ion instead of Jon. It’s a close one for me, but if I was forced to make a decision it would be number one.

Hi Jon,
The bottom one (red) jumps out at me with more impact. Top logo is good, too, but it looks too disconnected.
To me, the all-of-one-piece look of the bottom one is best.
Thanks for letting us have input on it.

I REALLY like the first one!!! I have my own personal marketing materials (I did NOT make them, but had input and the final decision), and the top one literally jumped out. I did take a very careful look at both. I like the lines in the top one. Color is relative—it can be changed! What you have is good. The second one did not appeal to me. I found I had to really look at the letters to make them out. Some people may feel that is a positive thing because an individual may take time to look at it. Personally, I feel you want people to know who and what it is right off the bat and that is clearly noticed in A. Good luck. I, too hope you post the one you ended up using!

Like Julie I too have worked with clients helping them develop their brand identity. I have a few problems with logo “A”. The duplicate use of the logo is unnecessary and confusing, the colors are bland and the design is rather pedestrian and forgettable.
Logo “B” is dramatic - the colors and design compel you to look twice. The fact that people will have to really look at it to understand the logo I see as a positive. Once they see it they will definitely associate it with you and that’s the ultimately goal.
However, no matter what this “poll” decides I recommend that you take your time choosing what YOU are most comfortable with since you’ll be living with it for a long time.
Good luck with your decision.

I think the second logo makes a stronger impact and is more powerfull and energetic. The first one is too standard, one in the lot!
Nevertheless I agree that in the second one the initials are a bit confusing. Maybe making them clearer, slightly more identifiable.
The colors on the bottom one are more energetic, the other one is too corporate, maybe elegant, but it does not say sport, energy, strength, it says office and suit.
The font and color used at the bottom for the slogan really make it stand out, and the phrase makes a big impact. On the top one the phrase is overlooked, I didn’t even realise it was there until I saw the second one.
Overall I think number two with a little improvement perhaps.
Good luck!

Hi Jon
I don’t think either logo captures yet that you’re about FITNESS, strength & transformation.
The colour red definitely reflects power and strength plus red (fire) better conveys transformation. The tag line “Radical Body Transformation” is excellent.
To me, the blue logo looks a bit like a person (with poor posture) sitting on a chair. I have no idea what it’s meant to represent.
And the flowing red logo looks like a person kneeling / begging with hands reaching out.
Again this is just my opinion.
Out of the two, I’m voting for the Blue one just because I think the sharp direct logo is slightly better than the flowing wishy washy one.
Hope this feedback is useful.
